The Paranoia Parameter
Adam Goldstein, founder of Hipmunk, asked me to create several illustrations for his article about leadership anxiety.

Much like a robot, our anxious brains run algorithms to assess possible threats. The illustrations aim to highlight points in the article with a humorous twist.

The paranoid Don Quixote Robot battles windmills. We’re calibrated to err on the side of overreacting to uncertain threats.
